stayed at Portglenone marina on the Bann 2 weeks ago. Access to showers etc The Wild Duck bar / restaurant is a short walk away. Worth a visit.added by JC 16/7/18 The caretaker is called Kathy, you have to arrange your visit through her, she will meet you at the marina and give you a key and also switch on the EHU Her mobile is 0044 7974 474181 I found it useful to ring her when we were about 30mins away from the marina so she could meet us when we arrived. An absolute perfect model for an Aire, 6 places all with on pitch services including free electric, perfectly clean toilets & showers, washing Machine, drying room and a social lounge with tv, tea/coffee making facilities, all of this is included within the price of £10 per night. Nice friendly village with riverside walks, cycling routes and Canoeing. Portglenone Enterprise Group 61 Main Street Portglenone BT44 8HP, Just spent a lovely couple of days at Portglenone Marina Aire. £15 Inc EHU. Nice spot close to but far enough away from the town. Nice range of shops. Can recommend Maine Bakery and Steve's takeaway. The Wild Duck serves great food but obviously a different price point! Range of takeaways available, Eurospar, fruit and vegetable shop, charity shop and fashion. Good roads round the area and you can cycle on quiet-ish roads. Friendly and helpful attendant. Facilities were not clean.....they were spotless. Only downside is possibly the booking system where you have to phone a number during office hours to book and prepay. Not ideal for drive-ins.
