We are a small hilly campsite with lots of mature trees so the very big buses are not going to get on well here. We have now have 5 hardstands, all with ehu. 3 hardstands can cater for motorhomes / caravans up to about 7 meters, anything bigger will struggle. Depending on which side your door is on you may have to reverse into the pitch so, especially with a caravan, good driving skills are required. The remaining 2 hardstands will take something like a Fiat Ducato but anything with a bubble over the drivers cab probably wont fit in these pitches. We can now take care of grey and black water but only from a cassette as the disposal point is up a hill which you can only walk to.
There is a charge for the washing machine and dryer but showers, cooker etc are all free. Electricity hook ups are all over the campsite, 32 amp and free.
We don't really have a closing or opening date for campers and will take anyone at any time really. We can do this as we live on site. Our house is literally metres from the campsite across a small stream behind a hedge. However in the winter winter months we wont have hot water for showers. There will be toilet facilities and running water.
We also have tepee's which are really impressive and very plush inside. Even if you're not staying in one, waking up and seeing them outside your door is really cool. They add something very special to the site"
