The Six Mile Water Caravan Park lies on the tranquil and scenic shores of Lough Neagh and is the perfect stop-over point for visitors to Northern Ireland. The Caravan Park is within easy walking distance of Antrim Town, Antrim Forum and Antrim Castle Gardens. Chose Six Mile Water for our first ever weekend away in our new to us MH - and it won’t be our last visit. Site is accessed by a unique 4 digit numerical code which is provided at time of booking - this is also used to access toilets, pot wash, sluice etc. 36 hard standing pitches which are well spaced all have EHU, water tap and drainage (if you have the necessary hose). Site provides excellent access to shore of Lough Neagh in one direction and along the river to the Antrim Castle gardens in the other (the latter path is very busy for most of the day and you will be aware of walkers if on the pitches beside it). Town centre/Tesco’s approx 0.9 mile. There is a cafe (Little Swan - dog friendly sit in or take away) and restaurant (The Boathouse) in the adjacent Lough Neagh Centre. Antrim Park Run starts from adjacent car park. Toilet/ shower block advertised hot water times but there seemed to be hot water any time I ‘visited’. Very clean and well maintained site and facilities. Dog friendly. £30/ night. Well done to the Borough Council.
